A vintage lithographic exhibition poster designed by Jack Youngerman for “The 50th Year” celebration at The New School in 1969. The composition features bold abstract organic forms in saturated yellow, purple, and orange, reflecting Youngerman’s signature hard-edge abstraction and interest in simplified botanical and biomorphic imagery. Associated with postwar American abstraction, Youngerman was known for blending geometric precision with fluid natural forms. The poster exemplifies the strong graphic design sensibility of late 1960s modernist exhibition materials and remains a collectible example of art and institutional design history.
