$800.00

A compelling mixed-media wall sculpture that merges painting and relief into a richly textured architectural composition. Titled "Cityscape II" (1974) and hand signed in pencil "Louise Bernard" with an annotation of 4/50 along the lower margin. The artwork features layered geometric forms, earthy tones, and bold black linear elements that evoke an abstract urban skyline. The addition of dimensional materials creates depth and shadow, reinforcing the Brutalist aesthetic while emphasizing the work's sculptural presence. The piece reflects the modernist interest in abstraction, architecture, and material experimentation, functioning as both a painting and a sculptural wall object.

From a private collection. Dimensions: 23.5"h x 19.25"w x 1.75"d (framed). In very good condition.
